KeTech explores the link between perceived travel time & real-time passenger information systems

KeTech first installed their unique Universal Information System (UIS) at Porterbrook’s innovation hub at Rail Live back in June 2019 and it will continue to be available for demonstrations until the end of 2020. Concerns surrounding customers’ needs centre around experience, operational efficiency and ensuring safe travel – particularly during cases of major incidents.

KeTech is pleased to be slowly and safely welcoming employees back into the office.

Modern technology offers the opportunity for train passengers to have access to customised services and up-to-date information to enhance the rail journey experience. However, findings show there is a lack of knowledge about which innovations and services are most important to rail travellers.

In response to the developments of the recent outbreak of COVID-19, KeTech has introduced spread reduction and protection measures throughout its business operations. Our employees, partners and customers health takes priority and therefore we have adapted approaches that give precedence to this.

We’ve moved – it’s our Nottingham office’s turn to get a brand new, shiny home! We’re so excited to finally be settled in, we can’t wait to share some photos once the finishing touches have been added. Following the move of the Preston branch in October 2018, we decided it was time for Nottingham to move too! The Nottingham team has gone from strength to strength and grown at quite a rate.
