With over 25 years in the rail industry, working in both small start ups and large global corporations, such as Thales and Datel Rail Systems, Mike joined KeTech in 2001. Starting his career as an electronics engineer Mike worked in both the aerospace industry designing ground breaking electronics systems and moved into rail in the early ‘90s, to design the UK’s first track to train video transmission system.
Taking up senior design roles on a number of high profile projects, Mike spent a period as a Consultant to London Underground advising on best practices and technology assessments. During Mike’s career, he has been instrumental in developments for large scale projects such as Jubilee Line Extension, Victoria Line Upgrade and Crossrail.
As KeTech’s Technical Director, Mike is responsible for its Innovation, product development, technical excellence and ensuring that the company stays at the forefront of the industry and ahead of the competition.
In his spare time Mike likes to write music and plays a variety of musical instruments, as well as having a keen interest in cars.
