As Technical Director, Mike benefits from his training as an electronics engineer to craft responsive interfaces with composition and precision. He balances his passion for design with his dedication to performance and simplicity. Mike’s 25 years of experience in rail brings a wealth of knowledge to his team which he guides to continue designing innovative products to create better informed journeys in the rail industry.
Mike’s career started in the aerospace industry, moving into rail in the early 90’s, working for Datel Rail Systems and Thales. Here, he took on senior design roles for high-profile projects in which he was instrumental in their success.
In his free time, Mike enjoys capturing photography on his travels and unwinding through writing and playing music.
Responsibilities
As KeTech’s Technical Director, Mike is responsible for managing both software and hardware engineering teams, whilst also leading KeTech’s technical strategy, innovation, product development, technical excellence and ensuring that the company stays at the forefront of the industry and ahead of the competition.
Mike has extensive experience in senior design roles and consultancy, advising on best practices and technology assessments on high profile projects such as the Jubilee Line Extension, Victoria Line Upgrade and Crossrail.
